August 3, 200618 yr Author Sunday 30-7-2006 What do you want? I said "What do you want??" Oi! Get that thing outta my beak!! I finally got past Boris & snapped a couple of quick shots. Sorry didn't get them on earlier - I've got the flu and just couldn't be bothered!
August 3, 200618 yr Gorgeous babies- Boris does have the best "cranky" face pulling thing happening- she looks comical. Does that little fella have a patch on the back of his head?
August 4, 200618 yr Author I haven't disturbed them since Sunday - Boris does glare at me quite often & everytime I remove the nest box from the wall Big Gray jumps on top to give his 2 cents worth. The babies are at the stage where everytime I open the door they start abusing me - sometimes I'm not even going to their cage! I think the grey baby has a pied spot. Should know more when I take the next photo's - if I get time! Next weekend & up to the holiday 12-16 August is my Spring cleaning & I have alot of preparation to do!
August 5, 200618 yr Oh My Goodness Boris is such a sweetheart and her babies look as equally sweet, it does only seem like a short while ago that she layed the egg in your hand (Laughing out loud) .. I must say she has picked out rather a hansome young man there :hap: Beautiful pictures, Congrats Grandma and i cant wait for more pictures to follow Cheers  Una
August 5, 200618 yr Author Okay! I was so excited when I checked on Boris' babies today as I got a couple of unexpected surprises! I really wanted to post the pics straight away but I've had a busy day! Sorry, but I didn't snap Boris today - she was busy attacking the silverbeet I used to distract her! :(Laughing out loud): Anyhoo! Are you ready? Are you really ready?? Voila! The 3 bubbies: Isn't their colours a surprise??? Baby 3 is my favourite S/he's got brown/grayish wing markings & is very adventurous & curious - and sweet! :hap: This is baby 2, she is a very pretty green & cinnamon: This is the eldest baby, very quiet & she looks just like mum did at this age: Another group shot to finish with! :(Laughing out loud): Edited August 5, 200618 yr by karen
August 5, 200618 yr Oh look at those babies they are gorgeous. Hate to disappointment you, you don't have any spangles but #3 could be a full body greywing. Must be my moniter I don't see any brown wings but I see a cute pied spot on the baby blue budgie :hap: congrats
August 5, 200618 yr how cuute.. and how quick they have grown- I can see the cinnamon colour on my screen. I love that black beak too.
August 6, 200618 yr Author My mum met the babies today & it quite taken with the little blue baby. She was crawling all over mum & attempting to get into trouble  yep! she has Boris' personality all right! I don't know what to do now. I want to keep the Boss line (self tamers) going but I also want Boris back as I miss her to bits (Roger's mating with inanimate objects is tiresome). But now Boris really loves Big Grey & her bites are becoming harder. I know she will calm down again once inside (Squirt did) but mum & I also love the little blue baby. I guess I'll just wait and see.
