Today she will be going to a new home along with one of her sisters, a little green spangle girl.. They are being rather frisky in the aviary and trying to hook up with their brother and father :) so they are going to a friends of mine who has two little boys in her aviary that would love the company..

It would be nice to be able to tell her what sort she is though :ausb:

she is a dutch dominant pied spangle.

You can leave it that she is dominante pied. Just different from the one like my Pied.

I guessed before I saw the answer. (Except for the spangle bit). Wow, it's all coming back to me. :P Lovely little girl.

So they are different because??? Is it opaline in the dutch? I guess this is another one that really confuses me.

they give a different patterning to the feathers, the australian one give a band (mostly) in the middle of the chest while this one give a sort of recessive pattern to the body colour. They were names for the area they occured in.
