Oh I know :(Laughing out loud): that is the way it was with Merlin so I finally just said the name is Merlin. Maggie seems to fit that breed well too I don't know why but they look like Maggies :hap:. You can call her Maggie-Pie the whole thing is personally cute.

Spot on ! Yes its Butter's baby with Chucky , a yellowface dominant pied cobalt boy. Raised by Sasha and Stumpy. It's pretty, but I dont know how you would describe its colouring / mutation.

Zeuss and Buddha are VERY BIG BOYS and they fly so well too. They are very close brothers. Started some of the aviary mods today, but I have so much leadlight work on that it's hard to find the time. We segmented the front of the aviary for the youngsters. I have been separating birds from the main aviary in readiness for moving and some Budgie Mums are on holidays from breeding in smaller holding cages.

 

Thanks to Lovey's enthusiasm for the name we are calling the puppy we are keeping Maggie.

I have been getting many phonecalls about the puppies but everyone wants female pups. Noone wants to look at the boys yet

Ive had males and females, and males are much more fun personally (Laughing out loud). My current male Sheltie is honstly the nicest, well manered pooch ive ever seen, and hes NEVER had a SINGLE accident (pee or poop) since the day he was 8 weeks old which was the 1st day he was at our house. He never chews furniture, never barks (Laughing out loud). Anyways, all im saying is i find that quite rude ( ) that males arent needed, put Karen, send me one, and Bea the other, then everyone will be happy (Laughing out loud)

Missed the questiong before about Spot and Precious Baby, I think you have a mauve spangle opaline there. As to butter kid I'm not sure s/he seems to match a perfect clearwing.

Cricket doesnt mind anyone handling her puppies. She just quietly sits by whoevers feet that has the puppies and waits

I am still not looking at the cute puppy pictures, you can't force me to, I refuse! :

New fledglings out and about today. We have two of Curry and Lailas babies out today and two of Amaras babies out too. There is about 12 new babies out on the aviary floor and flying about too, some of them. There is a great terracotta pot with three door sections once used for a bird feeder I think. I put that on the aviary floor with nesting materials in it. All the babies go in there at night and keep warm and cosy. One of Swift and Rockets babies still in the nest has turned out to be yet another Double Factor Spangle in bright yellow (like Goldie from the last clutch but this one is more golden). I will do more photos over the weekend to post. We have some other pretties.

I will try for photos later but today is overcast and rainy and not a good day for photos. Remember Melon Nerwen ? Well we have at least two baby budgies in a nest belonging to Honey and Kiwi that are colouring up just like Melon, or so it seems so far. Very pretty.
