July 24, 200618 yr Great photos as usual Karen. Bungee reminds me a tiny bit of little Bao. Is that her in your avatar? I'm also really looking forward to seeing the dilute baby in full feather. I think s/he will be gorgeous! And Sansia is lovely. I would have guessed she would be a YF1 because of her blue colour. But you know me and YF - they forever confuse me!

But you know me and YF - they forever confuse me! Bungee is kind of like Bao in that she is cinnamon, but Bungee is a different shade of green. The bird in the avatar is Izzy one of the first babies I bred and she currently has 3 babies. The eldest of the dilute babies died in a nesting box accident so we will never see what it would have become. The youngest I posted apikkie of as you saw. Seems to be exactly like the mother so apparently that makes the dominant pied Dad split to dilute. Some photos dont show blues right , but any blue that shows greenish from head to chest area ( i.e. the bleed of colour) is a YF2. The mother of my YF2 spangle babies and the DF spangle baby has new little ones and she also has produced an albino this time.

July 24, 200618 yr Author A new baby today to Spot and Precious making 3 plus 5 eggs to them. Goliath and Jade have surprised me with 5 eggs after having Crystal last time. All babies in nests big and healthy so far. Some interesting colourations on pin feathers in nests. Will be having some spangles at the very least. Always a surprise to look in Ciara's nest at 7 wiggling pink blobs :ausb: all doing fine. ***NERWEN**** Looks like Spot is spangle rec pied Maybe ? Edited July 24, 200618 yr by Bubbles

I keep some, I rehome others. I don't sell to petshops. I have the space for a lot more budgies than I have but wouldn't overcrowd them as it affects their quality of life :ausb:

Cool, it might be a good idea to use it as a preventive messure. Just thinking out loud. Cheers Paul

July 24, 200618 yr Author They are gorgeous birds- you must have a fulltime job just remembering all their names and who belongs to who!!!! Yes....sometimes I forget a name or two. But their personalities and colours help me keep them in my head. I always know who belongs to who though. And now I use legrings for most of the babies. You have a nice aviary and some pretty birds
