okay i have had joey for 4 years and i got told he was a boy, now i read boys have brown beaks, girls have blue.

 

 

joey has a blue beak and white rings around his nostils...........white spots on cheeks and is yellow all over except a small green patch on belly.

not sure where you read that

 

females have light bluish or light tan ceres when out of breeding condition and dark brown wrinkly ceres when in breeding condition

males will have bright blue ceres they can have slight nasel rings

this rule applies for almost all the mutations execpt for the inos/lutios, recessive pied variety.
