hey my budgie has only laid one egg and it has been three or four days since she laid it . Is it normal if a bird only lays one egg?

is she a young hen on her first clutch ? i have had hens like this lay just one egg none have hatched but went on to be good mothers next clutch another one to watch for is egg bound does she look distressed panting

No this is her second clutch and shes not panting or distressed at all. Im just surprised becaus her partner and her are very active.

Does she have a lump near her vent to suggest she might have another egg on the way?
