June 24, 200717 yr This is very good news! I thought at first the worst had happened, even though I realized this was an old thread - I thought 'oh no an unhappy update'. What a relief to read there is a happy ending! It was ultimately for the best, wasn't it?
June 24, 200717 yr So heartwarming to hear Pheobe. Its funny that some hens just want to lay when they are with their mates despite non ideal conditions. That is why Sylvester is home with me - Jewel would be laying more if he were still there. Glad that the adoption lady is keeping them.
June 24, 200717 yr Thanks for all the replies! I was SO unhappy when I realized she was being overlooked, time and time again! But she wasn't, the rescue lady just didn't want to let her go! So it all worked out for the best! And people have wanted to adopt Coco but they have been turned down as they have another budgie (probably sense a good breeder). Good luck with Jewel Shawna. June 24, 200717 yr It's funny how things work out for the better sometimes. I mean I know I was Star's second, maybe third home and she was only 1 when I got her! So that is why I felt particularly bad to bounce her around once again. :ygbudgie:
