Here two big baby budgies out for the first time today, exploring in the rain. They're like twins. Mum is a recessive cinnamon cobalt pied and Dad is a mauve or grey normal. Here's the bubs ( females maybe ? What do you think ? )

Sweet & Pea are so cute hence "Sweet Pea"

Could be male, their ceres are very pink and have the bumps up by the nostrils but I see the white rings. Time will tell :hap:

These guys are really, really cute!!! I don't have any idea on sex.....sorry....but I do know they're darn cute!

Is something the matter with the one on the left's beak? In both photos the top beak is in the bottom one.

I was thinking the same thing Bea, it looks like its going "GRRRRRRR" at Karen .. I hope its just the camera angle or something, do budgies get overbites sometimes? They are both so sweet

I suppose the could, but surely they couldn't eat seeds?

i'm sure it would be rather difficult, maybe use the bottom beak as a scoop and then grind the seed with the top one like a mortar n pestle (sp?)

Before you all get carried away with yourselves over a "malformed budgie".....it's fine. It was just an expression that budgie had at the moment I took those two photos

I want to have grey babies now! I think ill try and get a grey hen and breed her, and hoep for some like these guys! (Laughing out loud)
