Posted July 2, 200618 yr Hi Everyone, I'm Shelley, and I have 11 budgies that I just adore. They are Keifer, a normal light green, Willow, a normal either dark green or olive, Skye, who is a very light blue yellowface with the most pale grey wings, Liberty, who is a yellowface blue type 1, Savannah, who is an aqua blue color yellowface with body color in her differently marked wings and a v at the back of her neck, Cassidy, who has a pale yellow head and back with a pale blue chest, and the very light grey wings, Shiloh, is pale yellow half way up her chest with pale blue on the other half and light yellow wings that have markings that look almost drawn on, Rhiannan, who is mostly white with light blue spots all over her, and the same light blue in her differently marked wings, and a white spot on the back of her head, Jolie, who is a white faced blue who looks almost purple in some lights, Jade, who is a yellowface blue type 2, and finally Raven who is a whiteface grey. They are all sweet and seem to be well on the way to becoming tame. A few have no interest in this taming business, but I am working on it. This is a cool place, and I'm glad to have found you all. July 2, 200618 yr Welcome Shelley. I just found this place a couple of days ago myself and am really enjoying reading up on everything. Do you have pictures of your budgies? Love to see them.
July 2, 200618 yr Hi Again, I was given a very cheap crappy Vivitar digital camera for my birthday, but I have never actually used it because I have to install the software that came with it before I take any pics. The pics have to put onto the computer right away because this camera operates with no memory card. If the pics aren't loaded onto the computer within a few days, they are just lost. I am not ungrateful about the camera, but it really does seem to be the junkiest camera on the market, (Laughing out loud). I will try to see if I have enough room on the computer to install the software, and if I do, I will post some pics of the birdies tonight. Thanks so much for the welcome, and take gentle care.

July 3, 200618 yr Hi and welcome. I think that is my very first camera I ever had too - it took good pics, but what you saw through the viewfinder was not what you took a picture of! I kept getting pics with no heads etc, because it was sooooo useless a viewfinder. Good luck!
July 3, 200618 yr Hi, how nice to see yet another Canadian. You will get great info here, I have had birds for over 10 years and read books and my parents had budgies when I was a kid, but most of what I know has come from here, welcome!
