I have three new babies in a nesting box. The dad has been instrumental all along in that he has sat with Mum as she laid the eggs, sat with her as she and he both incubated the eggs, and now they both stay in the nest and keep chicks warm and fed. Makes it hard to get a photo of the chicks. I think this Daddy bird is in touch with his feminine side.

Good to know that there are SOME responsible fathers out there!! (just joking). Once again you have stunning birds to share with everyone. I love the middle photo!!
