Posted June 16, 200619 yr I finally got casper & Jasper to go onto my finger outside of the cage, I am so proud of myself. If I do this 3 times a day for a while I think they will get the idea. I guess the phrase "Monkey see, Monkey do" is true. They saw me holding Passion earlier and I guess they thought it looked like fun. Here are some pictures of me holding them, one of them hiding in the corner before I held them and 1 of passion with her ball on top of her cage. Casper Jasper Casper & Jasper Passion with her ball
June 17, 200619 yr Yes, they are in seperate rooms but can still see each other threw a window that seperates the computer room from the living room, and the window stays closed now. My husband put the window there so it would be easier for me to hear him because I am deaf in my right ear and I am 40% deaf in my left ear. I put Casper & Jasper in the living room by the window and Passion by the window in the computer room so the can see each other and Casper & Jasper can see me interact with passion, but there is no physical contact between the 3 of them, no cage touching.
June 17, 200619 yr I love your birds. Casper is really pretty. Nice that you can quarantine them but they still get to see one another.
June 17, 200619 yr well, just spent time with each of them seperate. And I spent more time with casper and she gave me a kiss a few times, then she bit my top lip, it hurt guess because of more sensitive area, but I didn't jerk or yell. I put her close to my face the last time and told her to give mama a kiss and she did, I was so impressed. I think I am finally getting somewhere with these guys and gals. Will do it again later this evening and will get my son to take more pictures.
