I would like to introduce you all to the newest member of my family. Her name is Scrappy. I think she is a female, that is what they told me at the petstore. Here are some pictures.

Let me know what you think.

What a cute pie :) Don't you love it when they give in! I have no idea about gender, but she's beautiful.

Thank you, I was shocked myself. She is small compared to Casper & Jasper. I am not sure how old she is, how old are they when they start losing the rings on their head?

I am hoping to get her hand tamed, having a hard time with Casper & Jasper.

Shes adorable! Does the pied spot mean shes dominant pied....orrrr? Ive always wondered that? Or does it mean that if bred to pied, shell have pied babies??? :)

Kirby :)

sorry all scrappy has to go back :cry , something is wrong, when she came to the front of the cage, her private area was red and really swollen, not sure if it is an infectio or if a male got ahold of her.

That's too bad :( She was being quarantined from your other birds, right? Let us know what happens.

Yes, most definately.

They took her back and looked at the other 3 that were in the same cage and all of them had the same infection, they are going to send them to a vet and have them treated, they gave me my money back.
