since i have put my 2 older budgies in the breeder cage they started grooming and feeding one another but for like a week now my female has been aggressive towards the male and she is like bitting the nest box can u tell me why

She is preparing it for her eggs.

but i havnt seen them mate but when they kiss and groom is when they r about to sleep

I have breeding dozons of chicks over the last 6 months. I have 10- chicks in the nest boxes at the moment and have never seen my birds "Mate"
