I think i'm getting my budgie turned on?!?!?! When i am patting/scratching Olly especially around his cheeks he seems to get turned on, he fluffs himself right up and really leans into my scratching like he lift and turns his head and he'll try and nibble my fingers softly. Is this whats happening?? He loves it and gets right into it, its soo cute!!

Preening is a behavior between two budgies that show affection it could be just friendly preening or mating behavior. I can't say that he is turned on but more throughly enjoying you preening his head. Just like a cat purrs when you pet them.

I agree with Lovey. I've watched my males and females preen each other, my males preen each other, and my females preen each other. They all seem to evoke the same reaction of pleasure.
