Last night was the first time i fed Olly in my hand, i never done it with Pecker as i wanted him to see me as a friend not a bringer of food, but was reading here yesterday and decded to try it. Olly is pretty quiet and tame and will jump on my hand without food, but after i fed him in my hand when i got him to hop on with no food he went crazy!! He was doing everthing in fast forward running all over my hand pecking and nibbling like crazy looking for food. I'm just wondering should i just give him a little bit of food after i've played with him sort of like a reward or not at all or just whenever??? It was pretty funny though it was like he was saying 'it was here a minute ago where'd it go, where'd it go??'

When they eat from you they are certainly showing a degree of trust so know that . After you play with him as a good time to reward him with millett or seed or even a favorite veggie.
