Here is the two remaining babies of Ciara and Max. One baby died at 10 days when Dad got in the box with them and the baby got squashed. Max died last weeking in a fast flying accident.

Here is Mum and Dad (Max was a double factor dominant pied) and Ciara is a recessive pied *****Correction DOMINANT PIED (thanks Lovey)

How sweet. Are you sure Ciara is a recessive, with that blue on her neck so high I would think double factor pied. I remember Nerwen telling me that at one point. I know she doesn't have the iris ring but they say sometimes they don't always develop them or they can be light. If you have a shot of her back that would be cool to see. :)

You could be right here Lovey, so here is another pikkie. A nestbox one when she was raising an extra foster baby or two as well. 111024.jpg

I am going to go with dominant look at that pied spot on the back of her head too :D

Basically a double factor dominant pied has more clear on them ....like the photo of Max he is mostly white. There are double factors that are mostly yellow, Its when there isnt much of the other colours on them. Cheers karen
