Yeah I know, 10 budgies is alot but this new cage I have is huge and there was plenty of room for more so I went out this morning to look at my options and 2 of the most gorgeous and cute budgies tugged at my heart strings. One is a female and the other a male. Here are some pictures of them both:

Here is the female, a recessive pied somethig.

Who could say no to this face?

And the wings.

Here is the male, a dominant pied sky blue.

Again, I couldn't say no.

Here are his wings.

Together for a little bit, until taming begins.

I hope you like them i know I love them.

 

Neither of them have a name as of yet so feel free to sugest any you think of.

gorgeous, are you sure sky blue looks almost cobalt - but you know better because of the flash. I believe the other one you have is either a Grey-Greens have black tail where by olives have Blue (this was from Nerwen) so if you know what the tail is under there you can determine.

 

okay, I found more information from this site a while back I saved

Olives have dark blue/purple cheek patches and black-blue tails. Grey-greens have silver grey patches and black tails.

 

So he would be an Olive Recessive Pied, that is my guess on the coloration.

Then for the hen, Mika, Maya, Mini, Pepper, Emma, Maggie, Mariel, Ariel, Penny, Summer, Hannah, Claire, Pila, Olive, Lokie, Robyn, Pebble, Hope, Faith, Haven, Halo, Pie, Princess, Patches, Aspen, Nike, Nellie, Mollie, Cameo, Jules, Julia, Jazzy, Jazzie, Becky, Chase, Belle, Tango, or Mango?

 

There sooo cute! You BETTER be thinking of breeding in future! If you are, can you PLEASE BREED the new baby male to Ceaser! They would possibly be the most pretty pieds ever! And if you bred Franklin to the new girl, or the new girl to Skylar :redalbino: . . .

Really cute Misty. I like them a lot - especially the male. I'm partial to blues though.

 

Just a recommendation about numbers and that cage - I think you are reaching the max for them to be truly comfortable. I have the same cage and I found when I introduced my last 2 taking my numbers to 11 they started squabbling more and one was getting plucked. It may just be that she is an ino, but I'm not sure. Even with lots of space I think they may have felt crowded. I now have 9 in my big cage. I have 2 in a smaller cage, and Bella is in quarantine. I'm going to try to introduce her to the big cage but if trouble erupts I'll be taking out one more from the big cage to sharea a cage with her.
