Posted June 5, 200619 yr Hello all, I'm new to this forum. I would like to introduce myself as Jenny. I have two budgies: Woodie is yellow and white (takes after the Peanuts Woodstock) and Cloud that is opal blue/white with grey and white feathers and markings. Very beautiful birds. I got them for my birthday back in late January and they are now about 5 or 6 months old. Very energetic...loves Cheerios, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, carrots, tangelos, and occasional chicken. They love their millet too! They love to play on their swings, chase each other around their cage, play with the mirror, play on the climbing toy, play with the wiffle ball. When out of their cage, Cloud tends to fly low (which is good, whrew!) and they are molting their baby feathers. They also chase each other around the cage when they are out of it too. They sit on my hand--both at the same time!!! Nibble on my nose, chatter, etc. These birds are having a great time and I've never had birds before. Cloud Woodie (close to) Jenny
June 5, 200619 yr Welcome to the forum! Your budgies sound lovely and playful. I'm sure everyone would love to see some pictures of them.
June 5, 200619 yr yes we love pictures and welcome :nest: Thanks. I don't have a digital camera or a scanner, so the one in my avatar is the closest I have to what they look like. I forgot to mention that they love the Hartz's Gourmet Bonanza fruits and veggies keet food. I give kudos to Sundance Stores (they sell pets and budgies as well as other things) for taking such good care of the birds before I got them. I love them so much! Woodie loves to sit on my hand and chatter and Cloud likes to walk around checking things out. Edited August 27, 200816 yr by **Liv**
