Does Buddy Like Classical Music?

Featured Replies

okay so this morning i was on here while the kids watched little einsteins and they were playing classical music and like usual i got all carried and way and ended up singing the entire symphony ( dont even ask how i know this (Laughing out loud)) but i was looked at buddy and he was opening his mouth real wide as i did and then he woudl sit with his eyes closed as if he was really enjoying it.

What does closing their eyes mean apart from going to sleep? (Laughing out loud) It means they are relaxed aye?

Cause Buddy has been with me for about 3 weeks and was terrified of everything for the first few weeks and is only now really warming to us. So this is a positive thing right? hes in his cage about 6 inches from my face and still calm and has suddenly started preaning himself ALOT (i'm jsut hoping its not mites as i've gotten my self all paranoid from reading too many articles, i dont think it is but... :) ) but does it look good?

_______

okay so having re-read my post it sounds like hes jsut tired but either way.... some positive encouragement? I woudl really like buddy ot be happy with me :)

:)

he is nestling for a nap, yawning and closing his eyes and the music relaxed him. Merlin does that when I talk to him and call him a baby :redalbino:.

My budgies LOVE classical music! They also like to listen to opera. It helps them to relax and it soothes them I guess. I leave my radio on Nebraska Public Radio as they play classical and jazz stuff. They love it and they love it when I keep the radio on for them when I'm gone. Makes them feel like someone is there with them. It comforts them, soothes them, and makes them comfortable.

I know i'm kinda hijacking my own post but how long are birds meant to sleep By The Way? You say napping... well my buddy is in the same room as us (the lounge) and the kdis get up at 6 and we go to bed at midnight....thats obviously only 6 hours sleep and i'm positive he needs more, will he snooze during the day even with us in and out? Does it all add up? cause every other room in the house is cold :S
