What Do These Types Look Like?

Featured Replies

So thereee a person we are going to see about getting a friend for Rejy and the list of budgies she has for sale was rather confusing. I was wondering if anyone had pics of these types?

White Suffusion Hen

Grey/Green Hen

Recessive Pied Cock and Hen

And also what is the difference between dark green and light green? and a yellowface sky blue is just a sky blue with a yellow face right? (Laughing out loud)

Thanks

Emma

Go into budgie pictures and there are topics called Recessive Pieds, Opaline etc... you will probably get some good pictures there from our members.

In my siggy is a skyblue/white recessive pied there are different colors of the recessive pied so if you go into that post you will see different variations.

Dark factors play a part in darking up a birds blue and green, follow this link http://www.geocities.com/budgie-place/p_co...html#darkfactor

There are 2 types of Yellowface - Yellowface Type 1 or Type 2 (which the yellow bleeds into the stomach area)

Those posts with the different mutations are in this forum actually, just go back a few pages and you should find them. :D

see there thank you Bea for the correction :D

okay I've found most of the budgies but what the heck is a white suffusion?

I've checked through google and ran a search through here and all you get is my post asking what one is.

Yay, we are going over there tomorrow. We may or may not get a Budgie. Mum's very wary of it as the few times we've dealt with "backyard breeders" of other animals have been disastrous but the only other alternative is an hour and a half drive to Birds paradise this totally amazing pet store that has the most beauttiful healthy birds it's just soooo far away.

If anyones interested this was the list of birds she had for sale-

WE HAVE BABIES

2 X YELLOW FACE SKY BLUE HEN

1 X 2 X LIGHT GREEN HENS

1 X DARK GREEN HEN

1 X GREY COCK

**********************************

WE ALSO HAVE MATURE

1 X GREY/GREEN HEN

1 X RECESSIVE PIED GREY HEN

1 X WHITE SUFFUSION HEN

1 X RECESSIVE PIED GREY COCK

I really wanna see what a white suffusion is (Laughing out loud) and I'm interested in the recessive pied greys. I've sterilised my old cages within an inch of their lives and set them up with new perches and feed bowls and a few new toys.

(Laughing out loud) I'm excited.

I've never heard of the white suffusion. I wonder if it is a dark eyed clear or double factor spangle? Or maybe it is just a recessive with a lot of white.

The white suffusion turned out be an all white budgie with dark eyes, i cant remember what they are called.

Emma

dark eyed clears is what they are :redalbino:
