May 28, 200619 yr Great picture :bluebudgie: Just wondering, Have you clipped only 1 wing on that bird? if your going to clip your birds wings you should clip both wings never clip just one.

May 28, 200619 yr ADORABLE! Well, with ony one clipped, its like flying a plane with one wing! They definately cannot balance, and simple spiral out of countrol, which is VERY dangerous. Its ALWAYS best to clip both, so he can keep level and stable, then *** simply drift to the floor, not go crazy and hit the wall, then bang into the floor...get what i mean???
May 28, 200619 yr nice picture !! I agree with the wing clipping thing, Stitch only had one wing clipped and had alot of trouble with going around in circles, in a way it was a blessing because he became more attached to his cage for security. On the bad side though even now when his wing is almost completely grown back he's still getting used to having both .. it's weird but it's almost like he's flapping harder with the wing that was clipped so now it's grown his circles are going the other direction. If you know what I mean ... :bluebudgie:
May 28, 200619 yr Such a pretty bird. Nice picture. I agree with the others. It is best to have the other wing clipped and then allow them to both grow in.
May 29, 200619 yr Great picture :budgiedance: Just wondering, Have you clipped only 1 wing on that bird? if your going to clip your birds wings you should clip both wings never clip just one. Hi BrokenDreamz I didnt clip her wing, it was like it when I got her, I didnt clip the other one because I dont intend to clip them at all and am waiting for it to grow out. Should I clip the other wing? Cheers :budgiedance: Edited May 29, 200619 yr by bluebird
May 29, 200619 yr it can get very dangerous if you leave just one wing clipped. i would clip the other wing equally with the other if i were you. they will grow back eventually. and clipping does help prevent the ones that like to escape. Edited May 29, 200619 yr by BrokenDreamz
