I have a breeder that lives right beside me and she says when the hen lays here first egg she will sit on it some times , then when she lays her second she will sit on them all of the time. IS this true. Thancks for any info! REMEMBER KEEP IT REAL

Yes this is true. The Hen may not start incubating the eggs until the second or third on is laid.

my hen stumpy just got on her eggs today, she laid egg #3 yesterday!
