I live in the mid north coast of NSW - Is there a good and bad time for breeding budgies.

They are outside birds living at the bottom of the garden.

 

Whats the best time to start the breeding.

Spring is best! Summer is good too. Most people usually cease breeding by fall

 

So, id say breed two clutches in a row now, then let the birds rest all fall and winter, then breed again

barnsey I am just the other side of the border. The best time is in spring but for show budgies it is march through to November. Matches in with the show dates.
