Posted May 19, 200618 yr I live in the mid north coast of NSW - Is there a good and bad time for breeding budgies. They are outside birds living at the bottom of the garden. Whats the best time to start the breeding. Barnesy
May 20, 200618 yr Spring is best! Summer is good too. Most people usually cease breeding by fall So, id say breed two clutches in a row now, then let the birds rest all fall and winter, then breed again Best of luck! Kirby :rip:
May 20, 200618 yr barnsey I am just the other side of the border. The best time is in spring but for show budgies it is march through to November. Matches in with the show dates.
