I have never come across this & quite honestly don't know what to do.

This hen refuses point blank to enter a nest box. I properly bonded her & her mate prior to placing the box in.

All she is interested in doing is eating the rear of the nest box & will do this for up to 6 hours a day.

She is at least 1 year old & likes her mate & is in condition.

What can I do? I'm at a loss.

I've tried finding avian viagra for my Kakariki but no luck so that's out!

Have you tried your local video shop?

ask for the dodgy budgie videos usually under the desk!!

My first lot of budgies, spent the entire time eating the nest box. Went on for over a week. When they had destroyed most of the box, they then removed the sawdust they made (you can imagine how long that took!), and then went on to lay some beautiful clutches.
