    Nest Box In Aviary

    Hi, I have a new aviary that I have build. It is four months old. I have 9 budgies, 9 canaries and 5 quails. My question is that I have three nest boxes in the flight area, which one of the budgies is laying eggs. So far she has laid 6 eggs, I have removed them and placed a dummy egg in there place as she laid them. My question is how many eggs do they normally lay, before I place them back. Also can I take the nest box and place it to the side of a cage and place the mother and father in this cage? Is it best to leave alone? I have separated the quails. Hope you guys can help. Steve
