  1. Yes I thought to have it just incase they got cold at anytime. The female likes ! My other pair sleep on the top of it together. She has never laid any eggs. But I don't know how old she is either.
  2. Hello thanks all for the response. I am not breeding them. We adopted the birds and the two females were together for a while living okay with each other. Then they started to fight bad! We had to seperate them. Works out my other male is very happy now. Well they sell fleece tents I had one in there she must have ripped a hole and laid and egg. Most of the time they play with them and they are on the floor. This time I saw it looked in and it looked fertile so I figured I should let it be. Well Phoenix was born mamma and daddy both take care of him/her. It's week 4 going on week 5. So now debating do I lower the tray and nest so he can learn to climb up or leave it and he has to learn to climb down. Momma and daddy are now hanging low to the bottom of the cage I think trying to make him come out? There is a branch and ropes for him to try to climb on but he only tried the branch and then falls back in tray. Thanks for the advise. !! I need it. I love my birdies!!!
  3. I have a 2 week old baby budgie and I come home from work and see it sleeping a lot. At that age do they sleep a lot or should it be really active? I see poo around from the bird so it looks like its moving around the area we are just not home to see. It could we super active during the day when we are not home. Just wanted to make sure he is healthy. She/He is big and growing fast, but I look online and most videos seem like they are super active. There was only 1 egg so he doesn't have to compete for food. I tiny peep and momma or even daddy runs over to feed. Thanks any advise or anyone that had experienced raising baby budgie.
