  1. Sorry for the slow reply. I am not sure what it is. I have one brid that cannot fly, has dodgy flight feathers, and twisted feathers. I have done some reading about feather dusters. I will also look for french moult now. I should try and get some pictures so members can give me some real advice, but I am trying to do my own homework first. Thanks, Steve
  2. Thanks for the help. I am planning on sourcing a gold face, looking for nice sky blue body I think. Father is sky blue, female violet, siblings are mostly opaline. One of her siblings has the genetic walking thing and twisted feathers. I thought at first this was due to parents aggression clearing out the nest box, but as not improving I am not thinking it is the genetic thing. I have to research the genetic thing as I vaguely remember from 20 years ago about it,
  3. I have started playing with breeding some budgies. I have an sky blue breeding with a violet and a green breeding with a spangle. The blues are thoriwng a mix of blue and opalines, and this one has just been kicked from the box. How would you describe this bird. I am thinking of keeping her and breeding with a yellow face, as I think the babies would look good. Is this a good idea?? Thanks for your help.... http://s1108.beta.ph...563165892875701 Image here
