The budgie definitely looks male to me, but I know nothing about the colors in budgies or about finches

I've seen that before and personally think its very creepy.

And, yes, I won't be able to take him out in the winter, but, I was just curious really. I've been taking him out side in his little travel cage every few days and just sitting there with him for a few minutes but I just wanted to know.

Hi all, I'm still new to this forum so please forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong category, but... I've been reading some stuff about how good it is to provide foraging toys to pet birds, but I can't seem to find many ideas for foraging toys for budgies. Does anyone know of anything? And also, if my budgie has never had food other than in his feed cup how could I introduce foraging toys to him and get him to try them out? Thanks

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!! Just yesterday I was outside weeding, and it made me think of your parents' blueberry farm business, and I wondered how Allen was doing!! I am so glad to hear that you still have him, and that you still love him. By the way, when I mentioned Blondie and Dagwood above, Blondie was your Allen. Blondie haha! That's funny. And yeah, Allen's doing great. He's just the sweetest little bird ever.

They look both male to me, but i'm most definitely no expert By the way they're both so pretty!

Thanks robyn and sweetpea. I love his color too; so unique. I only have a good flight picture because he does a whole lot of flying and I take a whole lot of pictures; and some of them turn out decent
