  1. Thanks for your replies everyone. Pedro is doing just fine. He is his usual chipper self. Very chatty and active. When my husband caught him and brought him inside, he did blow warm air into his cupped hands where Pedro was resting. Hopefully all is well. It likely wasn't long enough to do any damage. We're very thankful for that, he's become such a loved addition to our family!
  2. We live in Canada and our 4 mos old budgie (Pedro) flew out the door this afternoon. It's 22 degrees Celcius inside, and it's -1 Celcius outside. He wasn't outside very long (maybe 15 seconds) just long enough for my husband to run out after him and grab him in his hands before he landed anywhere in the snow. He was flying (obviously) and we were wondering if he would experience any problems because of this (ie: lungs etc). Should we be worried?
