Casper's Mum

Yes they have been showing a lot of affection towards each other, he feeding each other not sure on the mating thou...i've seen her in position but not sure if he has successfully mounted her. Time will tell I guess!

So I brought Cass a mate and they have been happily sharing a cage for a month but lately she has been hiding out in the breeding box, she is in there as I type this, huddled up against the side wall with her tail in the air...is she preparing to lay? She will come out a couple times during the day and sits on the perches at night but most of the time during the day she is in the box. Can anyone shed some light for me?

Hi my name is Rebecca and I live in QLD with my husband Adrian and 2 kids Zac (5) and Kara (2). We have just brought our very first budgie this morning. Im not sure after reading a few comments on the forum the sex of my budgie but I was told it was a male. He is only 10 weeks old and is a very talkative. Will try and post some pictures later but just wanted to come in and say hi. ETA: Pictures If you haven't already seen, his name is Casper.
