Hello Everyone, I am looking to purchase up to three pairs of Show Budgies in the Northern Rivers, Gold Coast or Brisbane area. Up to 12 months of age and club rung. Prefer Normals or Spangled, however willing look at most varieties. I am budding bird fancier just starting out. I have six breeding cabinets and an aviary to accommodate these birds and endless supplies of love and interest. Am joining a club as we speak but having trouble sourcing good birds from culls at this time. PLEASE HELP

Hello all, I am brand new the BBC forum and new to breeding budgies. I am interested in owning and breeding show budgies. Am buying three or four pairs at the Mudgeerabah Budgie Show this weekend. I have purchased an aviary 2mLx 1.5mW x 2mH. I have also purchased two triple breeding cabinets. My question relates to the placement of the breeding cages. Are these best mounted on shelves in the aviary or kept separate from the aviary. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Also any informationon purchasing show budgies in SE QLD or Northern NSW would be great. Thanks in advance
