Hi from Broken Hill…..I have been viewing the threads on the forum for a few weeks, so thought I had better do the right thing and join. At the moment I don't have any budgies as I still have to complete building my aviary (link below) but will be looking for a few pairs of recessive pieds as soon as the aviary is completed. I need some advice in regards to roofing the flight, is it best to fully roof or can I sheet 75% and just wire the remaining 25%. also what is the size dowel and spacing used for perches.
