    Hi everyone I've just become interested in budgies because my neice has an aviary and it looked like a lot of fun. My aviary has very quickly grown to 14 birds and my daughter has one bird in her bedroom cage. Two of the birds in the aviary used to be in my daughter's room and one of those (called Bruce because we knew so little about budgies back then) has just today laid her first egg. Unfortunately it was broken - I don't know why. I'll be interested to see if another egg appears tomorow or the next day after reading about this on this forum. We have a variety of colours and spangle, clearwing, greywing etc. It's all very confusing but we're enjoying learning all about it. Watching the aviary is like Days of Our Lives.
