Appreciate the comments. Frodo still hates me and humans. Has settled into cage okay, just hates me. Won't show any signs of happiness or playing with any toys. Just eats, sits and stares. Not even making noise. I carefully take her out of the cage but clearly does not want a bar of it. Won't even eat millet, only Trill. I talk to her all day, nothing changes. Maybe I'm just too impatient.

Hi, 2 months I think. I have some great new photos and videos. What type? I did not know there were types. I thought there were just blue ones, green ones and yellow ones and then mixed ones like frodo. I have had a pet budgie for years and this is the new one since the last one left me 2 months ago. He hated me at first but is settling in slowly. Very spoilt. Are the colours rare? Thanks.

Thanks. He has millet, and is spoilt. I think I am just impatient. I am on holidays and have speaking to him all day. I think I am just being impateint. Since he bights so hard and draws blood I am a bit scared of handling him again. Sorry I forgot to answer your question. he is untamed, came out of an avery of about 20 birds.

Hi, I am new here. I just got my new budgie. I chose him because he looked happy and chirpy. He is about 8 weeks old and has some amazing colors. Anyway it hates me. I have only had him 1 week. Am I jusmping to conclusions and been too impatient in letting him settle in? He has a good home, good cage. Is he suffering separation anxiety or something? He bites me so hard it draws blood. He has just started chirping after 5 days. He is eating okay. Just wondering if his scared violent biting will stop soon? His name is Frodo. I will post a photo. My questions have probably been asked a thousand times but I appreciate any good advice. I purchased him from a good credible source. Thanks Marcus
