    I have a sick budgie, he shares a cage with another male budgie. Today the feathers around his eye looke mauled and like they have been pulled out. He was popping his head up and down repeatedly like he is trying to bring something up this lasts for a few seconds to a minute and then he returns to normal. He is puffed up and he was easier to catch than normal. The area around the eye appears to be tender, they eye looks normal.
