  1. He's only gone and turned up! Can you hug a budgie? I went in the pub the other night after stumbling though a few nearby hedgerows looking for him, and I only bloody well had managed to brush a redback spider onto the back of my jacket! Some little kid said "Hey, Mister, You've got a bug on your back". Being a Pom I jumped a bloody mile and managed to cause a fair bit of panic in the pub as I took my coat off in 0.2s, luckily the barman came and disposed the offending critter outside.
  2. Hi Guys, As per my other thread, we're possibly in the market for a new budgie as Colin seems to have legged (winged?) it. We're two blokes in a house, and it's nice to have a bit of company around the place, besides, the ladies seem to love coming round and saying hello to him! (He loved climbing up onto girls' heads, I suspect it's the hair is something to hold onto) Requirements... 1. Sky blue (ideally only sky blue and white) it's a football team thing. 2. A bit of character, tame, etc 3. Ideally a talker, or one we can teach to speak 4. Cheap :hap: Any ideas on where to purchase one, and the best type to get? I think we need a male if we want it to have a chance of speaking a bit don't we? Any advice appreciated in Sydney CBD/Inner West on a place to get one. It's not going to be shown, so just whatever really. Cheers, Blue
