Hi iam, new to keeping budgies and also new to the site so go easy on me lol!! I recently decided to purchase budgies,so looking in local papers and local internet searches i found a seller with 2 budgies and a cage.I phoned the lady and went to view them. She said they were fairly tame birds and were femal and male.I know they are because i did a fair bit of reading up on budgie before i decided to get any. I bought the 2 budgies and large cage with all accories for £10 !! When i got them home i decided to clean them out,was this correct thng to do? They flew around the room and landed on my lamp shade.It took me ages to get the birds back in the cage once it had been cleaned,i had to catch them.Both birds bit me hard when i did this. Really i just need some general help on keeping them and help trying or attempting to taim them,where do i start??? Thnks
