hi, im not sure about those herbs, im sure someone will know, but if your budgie likes that, it will probably like what i give mine. Mine love eucalypt leaves, the long thin leaves that have a really strong eucalypt smell, im not sure of the name of the variety, but if icant find any, i subsitiute with any gum leaves, angofra e.t.c., I stick the branches in the aviary and spray them with water, they love them when wet, and they will rip them off into the bird bath and splash around, plus eucalypts supposedly have a mild anthelmintic effect aswell. So if you get advice that those herbs are no good, you could still give your bathing beauty another option!

  8. just wanted to say congrats and good work to those involved in the BBC inspection project. It's great that people will activley monitor pet shops, and offer constructive criticism and advice. Unfortunatley in my experience, customers of pet shops will notice illness and housing conditions in pets such as kittens and puppies, such as cat flu symtoms, runny eyes/noses and skin conditions in pups, they dont miss dirty cages etc,(which is all good) however with birds, unless you have kept birds and aware of particular conditions and signs of illness in birds, this will be missed by average customer entering the store. keep up the good work and keep us all posted! nett.h
