  1. Does the legband have any letters or numbers on it ? yes it did. They removed it and I have no idea what they were =( I have to see if I can find where I had it written down when I was trying to google it.
  2. thank you for your reply. Well its been awhile I have had them for about 8 months now so they have settled and became apart of our family so I'm glad they didnt just go and mate then. I actually was even unsure of the sex when I got them. I also have a question maybe you might be able to answer. One of the birds I got from this lady had a redish brown metal tag around it's leg and vets or anything can't tell me what it came from. Do you have any idea? thank you
  3. Hi I'm new here and was very excited to see one of my bird pairs mated and she laid eggs yesterday. I have been researching like crazy on what to do and have been fortunate to come across these forums. I took this pair in from a lady who was not the greatest to them, they weren't even named. I put the box in there for some comfort to get used to our home and their next door neighbors (my other birds). I was very happy to see them get along so well and become adjusted and happy with us and was even more happy when I couldn't find her and seen she was sitting on eggs! She laid 4 eggs within 2 days and the daddy has been so great with her as well. I really wasn't planning on breeding but can't say im upset that it happened either. I would like a little input on what I should do. Leave them be? When the babies hatch (around 18 days right?) what should I do? Thanks guys!
