  1. actually i did have her in a cage but she still broke all her eggs
  2. she is in a huge aviary with two other pairs. Yes, that is her age. I was told that if a bird was in a cage for to long they can lose there instincts.
  3. Hi, i have this female budgie who is about 1 year old, she's with a male budgie and has laid lots of eggs but she doesn't sit on them properly and then ends up breaking them. She was in a cage for about 8 months so i think its because she's been in a cage to long and forgot how to be a parent. I'm wondering what should i do with her and should i keep the male with her, just without a nest box. thanks
  4. okay i will look aroung for a couple of pairs. Is there anything else i should know?
  5. Hi i would like to start breeding show budgies and in the future when i get what i want in a budgie, show them. I have a big pet type budgie who has uncrossed wings and some other features a show budgie needs and i was wondering if i could breed him with a show budgie then breed one of there baby's with another show budgie. By doing that would i then start to get better show budgies that i could show. I already breed pet type budgies, so i have a pretty good idea about breeding birds.
