okay anyone got a reccommended size for a "small cage"

Why ? If its because of the budgie, rig it up so you can cover the mirror when hes out. Same problem with windows and budgies flying around anyway. yeh i guess i could cover it with cloth or tape paper on it. i dont really need the mirror if you mean spray as in bath yeh ill bath it every other day (hope it likes baths)

is a travel cage just a small cage or is it something special. say when you take your budgie to the vet wheat do you take it in. im guessing no one takes them in there proper cage that they live in but have smaller cages for travel?. or would you use a box ive seen boxes in petshops that they give to you when you buy one are those okay or?????????. (sorry if this has been answered i searched but didnt find anything) pictures would be nice of how everyone takes there budgie to a vet ect

lucky i dont have carpet its wooden floor boards and the curtains are on the otherside of the room. ill have to move my clothes some where else but i dont have that much so it should be fine. im taking out a closet because its got a mirror on it and yeh the only thing im worried about is the gap between the wall and the table(wtever) dunnu how im gunna clean in their. i might just move the whole thing forward so the vaccum fits

hopefully it wont take him to long to recover. whats a culture test though?

if it becomes a problem, i can probobly move it. just have to make sure to keep my room clean. i usally keep the window slightly open because my beds next to it and i like the fresh air when i sleep. would that be considered a drought or wtever you call them and be bad for a bird because ill have it covered with a sheet most likely at night anyway

How could a cat get through the bars of a budgie cage ?! thats what i was thinking.

okay what i ment by not getting much sleep is because there would be poo on the bed. lol. im planning on buying a playgym if i find a nice one, or my dad might make somthing. no deo got it. yeh ill have him covered but im normally not up to late what would late be like 12am or 10 pm?. budgies become other pets dinners but have other pets ever been a budgies dinner?. if he/or she happens to be on the floor ill make sure everyone knows its there, also im planning on putting the cage on a table well like the dressing ones, there is a gap the size of the index and middle finger (well my fingers) im guessing alot of dust and seed in going to fall down there. the vaccum cant reach it so what should i do about that. i can get some pictures if you dont get what i mean.

Whats the best budgie mix you can buy. i wont be able to buy seeds seperate and then mix them so what would everyone recommend.

give him some heat, should help. but yeh definetly take him to a vet. and maybe a poo sample (but budgies poo every 20 minutes i read somewhere so you could just wait at the vet til he drops a bomb)

okay then thats alright. i just have to remember to have a large sheet over my bed when his out so he/she doesnt poop on it otherwise i wont be getting much sleep. :laughter:

ill be spending a lot of time with it (once i get it). and ill leave the tv or radio on in my room while im at school. are tv and radios safe?, when i let it out of the cage will it chew the cords or anything?

Is it okay if i keep a budgie in my bedroom (in a cage of course). ill remove anything thats dangerous for it before i let it out of the cage.

well there is a vet that is pretty close to where i live in dandenong melbourne. i was just wonderng if anyone has been to it before but first am i allowed to state the address and the names of the vet and then people can pm me there comments or?.

so pet type birds have the round head im talking about but show type birds will have the squarish head?
