Will These Dimensions Suffice?
Thank you for telling me that. Would putting the two new ones in a cage next to the old Budgies be okay for a few weeks? or Must I put them in a different room?

Will These Dimensions Suffice?
The Two I posted were my first two, and now these two. I do; however, have two love birds, two zebra finches, and a cockatiel.

Will These Dimensions Suffice?
Okay, I'll post pictures ASAP. I get them tomorrow morning, from my local pet store. I do not think there's any breeders around here, and, as much as my local pet store does a good job of taking care of them, I still feel bad that there's a bunch in a cage. I like to get animals from there, hoping I give them a better life.

Will These Dimensions Suffice?
Is it a great fit, or is barely able to support them? I want them to be happy, and have lots of room. Remember, they're small pet budgies!

My apologies, yes, inches.

Will These Dimensions Suffice?
I have two Budgerigars in a 30L x 18W x 38H (Flight cage). I want to get two more, will this suffice? P.S. The budgerigars will be allowed to grow their wings.

Question[]
Simple question: Are English Budgerigars better speakers/singers than their smaller friend, the American Budgerigar?

Cliche indeed, my other 5 birds have names that end in y or ie, I'd like to keep it like that. I'm having a very hard time coming up with names..

Budgie Singing
From my knowledge, males (commonly found in song-birds, but happens in parrots occasionally) will pick up pieces of sounds and add them to their own as a baby, even if you don't hear it until they've grown up. In song birds, their father usually is the main influence on their songs, and they'll pick up sounds, melodies, even a microsecond of a sound, from anything else. I'm quite confident that this is what your bird did, with or without you knowing it. :emoticon112:

Thanks for the tip! Actually, I have tried without the flash, but the photos just turn out too dark.

Determine Pip's Gender
It is my understanding that female birds will lay eggs regardless; they develop and they can't just "eliminate" them inside of their body. If you leave them together, the eggs may be fertile, but you can always remove them. If you provide a breeding box, they'll lay them in there; however, much like finches and Canaries, they'll lay them in their food, or on a soft spot on the bottom.

It's not just the budgies that do that, for me at least. One of my love birds are practically scared of the camera so much that he runs anywhere he can, and my cockatiel hates the flash and knows that a strange box comes and then boom, the flash, so he runs as well. Nevertheless, I still love them.. even If I can't show people the beauty I see.

Thanks; Surprisingly, it takes quite a bit of time to upload 105 photos (all of which are around 2MB), FIOS just doesn't work like it used to.

Thank you, I'll do that and upload all of my animal (mostly birdy) photos, and post a few of the budgies. :grouphug: Thank you for the much appreciated tutorial. If you'll give me just a few minutes, I'll post the image directly to the post.

Hi My name is Sean, and I'm new to this forum. I'm making an effort to get the best out of this forum because I love birds, and I happen to have two budgies, I want to learn as much as I can from them and I feel this is a great way to do so. I can't get a very good picture of them.. They just seem to.. Know. They're still babies, I'd estimate around 5 months old, They were hand fed and are very friendly, but still get scared easily and you can easily tell they're just looking for someone to trust. I have been unable to find a suitable name for these two, I'm open to suggestions and I'd love to hear them Confirmed by Karen, they're both males. (Thanks). EDIT: Here's some pictures! Finally! :grouphug: I have lots of pictures of my other birds(And more of my budgies).. I'm not sure if it's appropriate to post them, but you can take a look here: http://s736.photobucket.com/albums/xx6/RawrSean/Animals/ P.S. The cages they're in are MUCH bigger than it seems. Also, I'm sorry the last picture is bigger than allowed.. I told Photobucket to upload them at 480 640, I have no idea why that one didn't listen.
