we went and got another 3 budgies today one boy *blue / black english budgerigar* and 2 other female babies from this season do you think two boys and 4 females will be okay in my aviary its reasonably big for an outdoor aviary and the two boys seem to be getting along okay we have two nesting boxes one in each corner. we removed junior from the aviary so the new male doesnt hurt him.

Our story: Hi my name is Eric reader and my wife's name is Kelly, we are new to breeding budgies. My wife and i are currently going thru IVF to try and have our selves a family and breeding and looking after our budgies as something to keep our mind off all the troubles that we are incurring through ivf its very stressful and before we got the other budgies and our budgies breed and got junior we was having all sorts of trouble since junior has come along she seems to remaining destressed. Now you understand a little bit about us ill tell you the story of Jnr our only surviving baby budgie. I cant wait till the end of december thats when kellys xmas present her lutino ringneck gets to come home his name is jasper and his yellow. Jnr: Junior was our only baby budgie that hatched from our budgies first batch of eggs (4 in total) i have included pics for each stage from day 1 uptil day 30 which is today. Day 30: He was having an absolute blast on the play centre he loves to show off is this typical of a bird of this age and when should we bring him inside his eating food from my hand, When should i bring him inside because his going to be an inside bird and companion for jasper. The Parents: Male - White Female - Blue Day 1 he hatched Day 5:his going strong. Day 8: Day 13: Look at the big boy. Day 17: Feathers start showing. Day 22: His so big and strong Day 28: Day 29:On day 29 i found him out of his nest and in the corner of the aviary i left him there till the last afternoon then put him back in his nesting box full of wood shavings. Day 30: We got her out of her box today at he was allowed on Jasper's Playground ( kellys xmas present)
