Difficulty Training Pimms
Ooh, he's pretty! Is he opaline? And pictures don't always reflect proper color, but his cere is looking kind of female to me. In real life, is it a deep blue, or is it light blue and kind of whitish? ill put a clearer image on lateralso what does opaline mean?

Difficulty Training Pimms
good news. today i re-arranged pimms' cage so his door opens up to make a platform that i put millet on and he comes onto to it. i let him get used to it for a couple of minutes and then took the millet away and put it on my hand he then, after a little hesitation, hopped on to my hand. i took the millet away and he stayed there and was very interested, not scared. thank you both. this is alot of progress for me and i feel alot better. he is however not trusting anyone else. as soon as people walk into the room he cowers int the corner of his cage, but i sopose thats expected. (it sort of makes me feel more special that he doesnt like anyone else) p.s. thanks elly your article was very useful

Difficulty Training Pimms
when i first got my budgie my brother (not a nice person) tried to pick him up. pimms (my budgie) bit him on the hand and my brother drew his hand back fast with pimms still attached. pimms hit the side of his cage and got very upset. eight months on from this, and i am having great difficulty training my budgie because he is very agresive and bites every time i put my hand near him. its quite upsetting for me and pimms. could the incident at the start of my time with him be the cause of his agression? please has anybody got any advice?

Strange Molting-need Reasuring
hello my budgie is 5 and a half months old, he seems reasonable happy and is very talktive and loves to talk to the birds outside. however, he hasn't got feathers underneath his wings. This afternoon i found three feathers all about 1.5 inches in the cage, ive heard that they pick their feathers when they are boerd. is this molting natural or do i have to do something? ( hes got lots of toys, biggest cage i could find, i leave the radio on when im not there and i talk to him a lot) any advice acepted gratefully
