Hey all. I need some advice. Since my last budgie passed away a few years ago, there's been something missing, y'know? I've decided it's time to get a new buddy, but after reading some of the recommendations on this board, I've come to realise there's so much more I can do for my partner. What I want to know is, what should I get to start off with? Like, cage toys, recommended foodstuffs, anything else I should put in the cage, things I should do when bringing them home, etc. Just some general advice to get me started. I read the guides on cages, and have found one suitable - it's a big rectangular cage, with a flat roof. Perches can be set front to back, so my buddy can fly around in there. Just not sure what else to get to start off with.
