on schyler yes some white on the cere. on crowney it's mostly purplish/blue

hi all, recently got myself another budgie crowney - i'm guessing it's a boy and a yellowface type 2 ?? here are some pics. schyler is the blue recessive pied. guessing she's a girl but not sure. and i'm a bit worried about schyler. she is itching a lot, always preening herself more often. is this usual ? i am hoping since it's spring time she's just going through her first molt or feather change for the season ? she also seems a bit thiner than crowney. http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/zz151/gtctan/PA250067.jpg http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/zz151/gtctan/PA250074.jpg cheers

I have named the bird Schyler (pronounce as s-ky-ler). Skye for short name :hurryup: . Taking it if it's a female, she's not breathing through her mouth that often anymore. I guess she's just terrified from the first few days home. She now talks and sings when I turn on the tv. She's still afraid when I put my hand inside the cage. Guess I will have to gain the bird's trust.

thanks Kaz :budgiedance: ....budgie is still a bit nervous. it took me a long time before i managed to get a photo which is not blury. i'll try to take some more photo of the cere in normal light in a few days time once the budgie is settled down. havent got a name for the budgie yet as well....still pondering over some names atm.

Hello everyone, I've got my first budgie. Am very exited :thumbs_up: but I'm not sure what mutation is my budgie. Also the petshop staff says it's too young to determine the sex of the budgie. Can anyone tell me the mutation and the sex of my budgie ?
