Feather question
hhmmmm.thanks elise..it might be a mix of both, so might in the middle....ive got some pictures that i have used in other posts, but here they are: This is the chick. she i a bit slim n this one but usually she is large and broad...she was interested in the camera. Father and daughter: Dad and dad again on the left i got this dad from a pet store, but its ring is from the south west budgie club. i am beginning to wonder whether it is a good idea to pair up this chick with her father when she is old enough so when i am doing this line breeding the progeny will have more of the fathers side. The father is a 2008 bird any other thoughts on the chicks size to-be??

I Can Breed With Young Budgie
Kaz and Neat, you guys are geniuses WHAT is the POINT of having budgies if you arent going to give them the quality of life they deserve.. there is NO reason why you should be taken care of all well and be it top-notch health when your bird cant have the same happiness. its simple and plain..DONT breed budgies at a young age.... P.S i know its no good to have budgies colony breeding (as birds do breed young) ever since i joined this forum because, like kaz sai, its the best budgie forum in the world, and i intend to remove nests asap from the cage...

My Parakeets (breeders)
gb, no doubts you almost made me cry with this post...alot of love put into that.. i agree... please dont have budgies llike that amount if you cannot provide the best conditions for them...i do hope that you keep them in a larger cage with more room to fly to at least twelve months... its when they breed best.. breeding them too young may cause them to have breeding problems..then you need to pay vet expenses etc. and you may lose the poor unfortunate bird in some way..ALSO they have utterly no room in those breeding cages..it is quite creul. PLEASE dont have birds like that for bioreasearch if you want, you can read this.... http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....c=22068&hl= they are beautiful birds you have...simply adorable

The Ino Gene
Kaz gets good names from me - There is no history of INO's in this line of birds dating back to 2003. I will be interested to see if Caesar's dad sires any INO's with his new pairing to an albino hen. oh okay what names have you got for kaz to tell us????

This Week
Congratulations!!!!!! well done and good luck for the forthcoming tasks
-
The Ino Gene
i agree with libby...the grandfather of the albino must be split ino, passing it on to the father of the ino so that he is split ino, and know this bub has turned out to be white...i would call her snowball or something like that... Kaz usually has the good names
