Thank you all for your advice and yes I have plenty of room to build elsewhere, and I will.

I am building an aviary and was wondering if I could build it over one of my ponds that is home to a long neck tortise and goldfish, will the bird poo effect the pond which is about 90 cm deep x 65 cm wide x 1.8m long, it recirculates into a larger pond that would not be assesible to the birds, there would be at least another 2/3 floor space for the aviary. and plenty of flight room, the pond is lush with some nice thick reeds, and a bowl like bird bath section flowing into pond. I would like to introduce finches to the equation as well. Can some body help me with some advice. Many Thanks Craig
