Hi everyone, I hope that I'm in the right place. I am hoping to buy a (preferably hand-raised/tame) budgie for my daughter. She has been saving her money and during that time I've told her she needs to research budgies and know how to tell if they are sick, happy, what they eat, what they can't eat etc. We live on the Sunshine Coast (Caloundra), and I was hoping to find a good breeder around here (or within an hour, hopefully this side of Brisbane). I know that there is a breeder in Logan that I can get hand-raised budgies off, but it is a long drive and I'm not sure if it's fair to put a baby budgie (and my daughter) through that. If anyone has any information on where I might be able to find a good breeder on or near the coast, I would be really greatful. We do have two other birds. A cockatiel - Jack, and a Sun Conure - Suki. Cheers Sarah
