Hi there I have two pair of budgerigar's and I want to breed to them (not for a sale but for personal use) My problem is cock does not provide attention to hens, they are happy with each other So I separated those cocks and put them in different cage with hen on last Saturday So now I have one Cock and one Hen in one cage and another cage I have one cock and one hen, my problem does not stop here, for couple of hours (first pair )cock was behaving nice with hen and can see some progress but then suddenly it stopped, now they sit so far from each other and just sit **first pair has got breeding box ** I provide them healthy diet and veggies regularly My question are: 1) is it fair enough to separate these two guys? 2) Both the pair are over one and half year of age So why they would not breed? Please let me know if you need any more information Regards Cruze
